Specialized Professionals, Dedicated to You

SELL A HOME, SAVE A CHILD

WHAT IS SELL A HOME,
SAVE A CHILD?

The movement, Save a Child, Sell a Home (SAHSAC) is comprised of realtors all around the nation who wanted to make a living, make a difference, and find fulfillment in life. Every real estate office that partners with the organization dedicates a small portion of their profits to SAHSAC and observe how much even a little bit can improve the lives of the less fortunate. The program supports children’s programs in some of the world’s poorest communities, holistically fighting poverty through nutritious meals, safe drinking water, healthcare and education.

Since 2016, SAHSAC members have raised over $3 million to support over 5,000 children in Cuba, Haiti, Kenya, Mexico, Nicaragua and Uganda.

HOW IT WORKS

Here at Yoder Real Estate we’re proud to announce that we’re a part of the Sell a Home, Save a Child, a movement of Real Estate professionals that are breaking the mold in this industry by radically stepping up for children living in extreme poverty around the world.

Every home bought or sold with us will provide vulnerable children with nutritious meals, clean water, healthcare, and education. Giving them the tools to break free from generational poverty and change their world. We can’t wait to transform lives with you!

BRIGHTENING A CHILD’S FUTURE BY SELLING YOUR HOME

So who do we specifically support? When you sell your home with Yoder Real Estate you will be helping to provide clothes, education, shelter, and protection for our sponsor child, Raymond!

Raymond lives with his parents and three siblings in a two-bedroom house built with mud and roofed with thatch; they have no latrine. The family has access to electricity but no potable water. The village women and girls must fetch water from a local dam until it dries up, and then walk long distances to find other sources.

Raymond’s family is Christian. His mother is a housewife and his father is a small-hold farmer who cultivates maize, but barely harvests enough to last them throughout the year. Food is scarce from April until August before the harvest; during this time, they usually eat only once a day. Providing for the basic needs of the family is very challenging and, before Create Hope, hindered Raymond’s ability to go to school.

Raymond is a calm, loving boy who is devoted to his brother and sisters. He is respectful, social and likes talking; he can also be very emotional when things don’t go the way he wants them to. Raymond likes playing soccer with his siblings. His favorite food is T.Z. (a cornmeal and millet flour dough usually eaten with soup) and rice. He is in first grade and his favorite activity is arts and crafts. Raymond would like to be a nurse when he grows up.
