Before starting in real estate in 2002, Kevin worked in various sales and sales management roles in telecommunication and home security, including cutting his teeth selling home security systems door-to-door in Atlanta, Georgia in the late nineties. Kevin moved back to his hometown, Grand Rapids, Michigan and started his real estate career in 2002. He acted as a solo agent for 8 years and in 2010 he started The Yoder Team and for 14 years operated under the umbrella of Keller Williams Realty.
Yoder Real Estate was opened in January of 2017 and operated as independent brokerage until joining forces with eXp Realty in 2020, and he and his team haven’t looked back since. Kevin attributes the company’s growth and success to hiring and surrounding himself with great people. He modeled the Yoder team structure after other great teams in the country.
Kevin’s other endeavors include being VP of Public Relations for a local Toastmasters Club, where he hones his public speaking and leadership skills. He’s an avid real estate investor and enjoys traveling and reading. But his true inspiration is his family; he and his wife, Jenni, have 3 children, Lucy, Lilah and Henry.
